Kindness
KINDNESS
It’s extraordinary when I find
Despite the daily grind
People helping the maligned
Whether to the poor or to the blind
Disregarding the ties that bind
Or what they’ve left behind
To offer the needy some piece of mind
By making sure the hungry have dined
Or giving a check so generously signed
For someone on whom God’s light has shined.
They may not know, but I’ll remind,
God always blesses the kind.
